Who can attend and bid?
Anybody can attend our auctions but it is expected that persons under the age of 16 are accompanied by adults. Bidding can only be completed by persons over the age of 18.
How do you bid?
Before bidding on any lots you must obtain a bidding number by
registering and paying a £100 cash deposit (a £200 cash
deposit is required if you intend to bid on any vehicles). All deposits are refundable if no purchases are made, and, deductible on any purchase made.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made by cash, banker’s draft or debit/credit cards at our cash office. All credit card payments are subject to a surcharge.
When and how are purchased goods to be collected?
Goods are to be collected by 5pm on the day following the auction, unless specialist removal is required. For insurance reasons purchases are asked to make their own arrangements with regard to packaging and removal.
What is Buyers’ Premium?
A buyers’ premium is a percentage which is attached to the buyers’ invoice. Auctioneers use this as a contribution toward the costs of providing an auction service (10% in this case, which is vatable).
Are there rules and regulations relating to the purchase of goods?
Conditions of Sale can be found on the bottom of the home page of our website. They can also be found in the catalogue purchased on the day of the auction.
